Discover Clandons Maori Meeting House, Hinemihi 1pm-3.30pm
Found out more about Hinemihi, her history and culture, with 3 fascinating talks throughout the afternoon by Alan Gallop, author of 'The House with the Golden Eyes'.

Maori and Pacific Day of Dance 12pm-4pm
Come to Clandon for a celebration of Maori and Pacific culture focused on Hinemihi, the only Maori meeting house in the UK. Learn more about Hinemihi and enjoy the performances of traditional song and dance that will be given throughout the afternoon.

Gardening Day
Come and plant something to take home with you, and find out more about the world of gardening.

Re-enactors will come to the Royal Surrey Regiment Museum.

When War Came to Clandon.
A chance to find out more, see pictures and also view s special collection of autographs, poetry and sketches created by the patients.

Cobham's Bus Museum will be bringing vintage buses to Clandon throughout the day for visitors to ride on.

Food Glorious Food 12pm-4pm
Come to Hatchlands for a half term full of food. Take part in the food trail, take home recipes, learn about 1700s food and join in with the crafts.

Get up close and personal to owls, hawks and other birds of prey. Huxleys Birds of Prey centre will be visiting with some of their feathered friends for you to meet.

Autumn Meeting

At ST. JOHN’S CENTRE, EPSOM ROAD, MERROW

Monday 2nd November 2009 at 8 pm

Merrow Residents' Association and St. John's Church are hosting a social evening in aid of
the War Memorial Fund.
~
Brigadier John Smales, who is an expert on the battles of the two World Wars will be our guest speaker. John will give an illustrated talk on "Lessons Learnt and forgotten in Two World Wars".
~
Entrance by ticket only will be £10 to include wine and light refreshments. (Tickets will be available nearer the time.) We hope that you will join us with your family and friends to support the fund for the much-needed maintainance of the Merrow War Memorial.

New members are welcome to join at the door.
